Cori Lewis

Cori Lewis was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began her training at Lusher Charter School and the New Orleans Ballet Association, later receiving her BFA in Dance and Minor in Mathematics/Computer Science from SUNY Purchase College. She performed for children across the greater NYC area with BHdos for the 2018 season. Lewis went on to dance professionally for Hudson Ballet Theatre, Ballet Hispánico, Site-Specific Dances, and RudduR Dance. These companies have afforded her the opportunity to perform work by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Pedro Ruiz, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Omar Román de Jesús, Michael Spencer Phillips and more, as well as perform around the world and at festivals like Green Box Arts Festival, American Dance Festival, and the Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico.
